Organization Objective | ActionS 4 youth aims to fight childhood poverty all over the Greater Montreal where one out of three children leaves in poverty. To reach our goals, we encourage school retention & fight dropout by providing annually financial support for community projects all over the Greater Montreal, which offer appropriate guidance through means that proved their effectiveness, such as: academic support, healthy nutrition awareness, practice of sports and leisure activities, and offer personalized moral support for youths leaving in critical situations and provide them guidance to the appropriate resources. |
Volunteer Job(s) and Description | Volunteering opportunities for students are mainly occasional during one of our major fundraising activities which is the Big Public Charity Sales (biannual). Volunteer Requirements (language, special skills, etc.) | for typical students volunteering tasks enumerated above, there is no special requirements other than speaking French and/or English |
Time Commitment | – For any volunteer who offers ten or more hours of his time, a certificate of appreciation will be awarded upon request.
