The Canadian International Organ Competition is a charitable organization that makes meaningful contributions to society by the creation and promotion of organ music, and by educational activities that allow the public to better appreciate the pipe organ and its rich heritage. Every month of October, the CIOC puts on a festival. Every three years, the festival hosts an international competition with jury members from North-America and Europe. 2014 is a competition year: we are very excited to host one of the most important organ competitions in the world, in one of the capitals of the pipe organ.
