Volunteer Job(s) and Description | Nursery support in our Education program, both during the summer and throughout the school year Under the guidance of an educator the volunteer is responsible for basic care of children ages 0-18 months. In the summer months an opportunity exists to accompany the coordinator and the young mothers into the community for age-appropriate activities and outings.

Volunteer Requirements (language, special skills, etc.) | English speaking, empathic, non-judgemental, some knowledge of psycho-social issues affecting our clients. A knowledge and comfort with very young children and teenagers. A comfort with video camera would be an asset. Some training provided, however full time support available from educator responsible for program. |
Time Commitment | Twice a week, on both Monday and Wednesday running from July 1st to mid-August. It is absolutely necessary that you commit to both days for the entire time. The hours are 9AM-3PM roughly.
