Organization Objective | Everyday for over 20 years we have striven to provide a fundamental right: the right to be well nourished by having access to a variety of both quality and nutritious food. Our mission : •Ensure an optimal food supply to the community organizations that provide assistance to people in crisis on the island of Montréal. |
Volunteer Requirements (language, special skills, etc.) | Volunteers from all walks of life •Individuals The greater the number of volunteers involved in sorting foodstuffs, the greater the amount of foodstuffs distributed to organizations and, consequently, to people in need. In order for Moisson Montréal to run smoothly, between 30 and 40 volunteers are needed per day to handle foodstuffs in the warehouse. Language : French, English |
Time Commitment | Our volunteering schedule is; – Monday to Thursday : 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. (You can do an half-day for example 8 to 12 or 12:45 to 3) |
